My name is Cindy Miles. I’m originally from St. Louis but have lived most of my adult life in Springfield. After earning a degree in elementary education from SMSU, I taught Title 1 Math and 1st grade for several years at Willard North. Then I was able to stay at home for ten years when my daughters were growing up. I returned to teaching at Willard Central when it opened in 1996. My husband Walker and I live just north of Springfield. We have two beautiful daughters, both married and living nearby. Last summer, our first grandchild, Emerson Blair was born, and in December we welcomed our second grandchild, Isaac Walker into the family! Walker and I like to spend as much of our leisure time as possible with our precious family. We also enjoy cooking (and eating!), gardening, reading, exercise and listening to all kinds of music.
Teaching kindergartners is an enormous privilege. Thank you for the honor of being a part of your child's life this year!
